Believed to be built in the 17th century, this ancient mill is located on the Lot/Dordogne borders in Gourdon, making this an ideal holiday destination in the South West of France. The area itself offers endless possibilities. Gourdon is a very pretty medieval town and is 3km away. There are the prehistoric caves of Cougnac, Pech Merle and even Lascoux all in easy travelling distance along with medieval bastide towns and chateaux to be explored. The sublime and ancient hillside town Rocamdour is just 40 minutes away. Need we mention the cuisine and wine? Vineyards are nearby and the proprietors welcome visits. If you feel adventurous, then there's canoeing, golf, tennis (along with the swimming and cycling) , and of course walking and even hot air ballooning if you wish.
